About Me
Model, Brand Ambassador & Image
Since 2011, Vanessa has worked professionally in the world of fashion as a communicator, model and brand ambassador. She’s a social influencer who uses her platform to promote social change and empowerment of people and communities.
Born in San Salvador in 1996. Vanessa earned an International Bilingual Baccalaureate (IB) degree from the Academia Britanica Cuscatleca. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a concentration in Management from the Monica Herrera School of Communication.
From a young age, Vanessa participated in and enjoyed volunteer and social work. She says that her empathy for others comes from her parents taking her to volunteer at small towns in El Salvador, where she played with and got to know children from different backgrounds. This experience compelled her to start her own charitable foundation, Angel Hands by Vane. Angel Hands by Vane began by helping hospitals that care for children with cancer and by providing food to low-income neighborhoods. Today, Vanessa uses her foundation to raise funds to support the ill and people suffering losses from natural disasters. In addition, Vanessa assists communities affected by poverty by bringing aid, joy, positivity and hope.
Vanessa’s hobbies include traveling, learning about other cultures, exercising and generally living a healthy and fulfilled life. Her plans include continuing to be a role model to the girls and boys who look up to her, helping make El Salvador a better place to live and visit and owning her own brand to support her foundation.
